Our story
It all began with a life-long dream. Born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina, we (Jimmy and Shelby Harper) met as teenagers. After being married for 34 years and raising two sons, we decided to bring that dream to reality.
With the help and support of family and friends we were able to bring you Harper’s House of Flowers. We are excited to be on whatever journey your family takes, whether it be a wedding, birthday, or other special occasion.

Same Day Local Delivery Forgetful or in a rush? We’ve all been there and understand. That’s why we offer same day delivery to help you with your last minute needs.
Extensive Gift Selections Come by or shop online to pick out that special gift to go with your flowers. Unsure of what to get? Just consult one of our staff and they will help you pick the perfect gift.
Delivery Policy
Local deliveries are considered to be within 5 miles of the stores location and orders must be received before 2PM EST to guarantee same day delivery.
A local delivery fee of $12.95 will be added to each order for each address with a necessary minimum order of $55.00. (For deliveries outside local delivery area, this fee may vary)
We are unable to make deliveries Sunday (with the exception of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day) as the store is closed. Deliveries requested on those days will be delivered the following business day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at certain times of the day, but cannot guarantee it.
Deliveries to rural cemeteries and/or addresses cannot be guaranteed.

Holiday Deliveries
During the busy holiday season; to ensure your deliveries are on time, place your order at least 1 business day in advance to the following major holidays: Valentine’s Day, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Veteran’s Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Independence Day.
The store will be closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
